I like this book, especially for the price. It has a lot of helpful, useful information. I like how you can tape a "before" picture of yourself and write down information of yourself (height, weight, etc.). Towards the back, you write down everything you've eaten for the day (calories, carb, fat, amount of water you drank, any types of fruits you ate, & what vitamins you took...also, what types of exercises you did and how much calories you burned.Gives you a list of some food items and next to each, it list the amount of calories, carbs, fat, protein and fiber for it. There's pictures of some exercises you can do.
Overall, it's a pretty good book. And like I said before, especially for the price.

The book itself was ok. But while checking out other fitness books by him at the Sam's Club I work at, I realized they just have different titles but the information within is exactly the same! I was glad to figure this out and didn't bother spending my money. This guy is apparently all about slapping a different cover on a book, changing the titles of each chapter just slightly (Seriously, hold two books side by side, look at the table of contents), and calling it a new book! I didn't check the diet portions, but I would be willing to bet they are exactly the same as well. Why waste money on each of his books for the same information?? Your better off getting information off the internet.
I bought this book years ago and I still drag it out when I am trying to be healthy and get in shape. Since I don't live a super active lifestyle or eat the healthiest. I'm one of those average people that do what they can when they feel motivated.This book is a great for beginners trying to get their weight down, eat and live healthier. I think it has loads of great advice, tips, grocery ideas and ways to stay motivated and also some work outs with pictures to help you along your way.The TITLE IS TOTAL HYPE, but honestly its a really great book, easy to read, and follow. And you do lose weight by following its advice. To me, this is the perfect place to start! You should get it.
